Coronavirus Updates

This page will be updated as new information becomes available regarding the Coronavirus as it relates to our Sterling Avenue church family.

Update: Thursday Afternoon, March 19th

Due to the current global health situation as it relates to our community, the elders have decided to cancel services for Sunday, March 22nd 2020. This decision was one that was made with great contemplation and consideration as the shepherds continuously seek after the welfare and spiritual needs of this local church.

Although we will not be assembling physically for worship this Sunday, Justin will be presenting a sermon on the church's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/sterlingavechurch/ which everyone should be able to access. This will hopefully afford us an opportunity to connect with one another but also grow spiritually though we are apart.

These are not easy decision for your shepherds to make. We are doing all we can to help us please the Lord, be safe, and be wise. If you have further questions or needs you know to reach out to us and we will be glad to help all we can. Keep praying for our nation’s leaders, for the sick, for medical personnel and first responders, and for this church. We are convinced we will get through this together and have an even greater appreciation of the joy of assembling all together at the building when we can do that safely again.

The elders will provide further updates as time goes on.
